Just when you thought everything was going your way....

What do you think of early Genesis, Elton John, Billy Joel.. Rick Wakeman, Yes.... just thinking of classic keyboardists lately. Skaren's learning to play too. I'm just one of those muppets up in the box seats lol

I think I've heard some of the singles from most of the artists you mentioned, I've never actually listened to a full album from either of them though, I'll listen to an album from each and get back to you on that

Respectively, thinking about: Dodo, Rocketman, Piano Man, (Rick Wakeman was in Yes, check out Roundabout, used to be a classic of the 70's)

What are your thoughts on The Beatles?

can't remember if I asked this, sorry if I did lol

I do like the Beatles, but, since I've been around a while, a lot of it seems over commercialized now. It's hard to judge music, since it's all meant to be popular/commercial/mainstream. I guess all that time I spent in consumer research fucked me up

I definitely see what you mean, and I mostly agree with that. Thoughts on the Beach Boys?

On the way home from the Tilted Kilt, a song from the White Album came on, Glass Onion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evxrVjW-aeg Unfortunately it only bolsters my previous assertion |:

My sister's BF went ot school with one of those guys, who were kinda poser surfers. Yeah, I do like bubblegum type music like that. Sunday mornings the local heavy metal college station would play Hawaiian music, and I'd blast that on my way home to work. It's like another version of polka, which seems to be the silent mommy of good old rock and roll. Blue is a whole other story, but when the 2 combined... like a Kit Kat bar.

Man, I'm whooped, knackered, spent.....
