Love the art and animation, a very enjoyable watch. Keep up the good work!

Pop-Tart responds:

thnx!

A genuine effort, although it still needs some work.

The direction and flow of the shots is actually well done, and definitely a step up from your previous work; in fact, the whole thing functions quite well as an animatic or a rough draft, but it would be even better if the line quality was smoother and cleaner.

I think 40 is the best smoothing, since it's not too rough, yet Flash typically doesn't mess up the lines you draw in 40 smoothing. The line quality here varies from fairly small to very thick, I'm talking specifically about Dexter's tail at 0:34.

The shot right after that at 0:38 is unnecessarily wobbly, and it would be a big improvement if you just kept one of the frames, though instead this gives it a sort of amateurish feel. Some of the frame-by-frame animation could use more inbetweens - the more, the better it looks.

In conclusion, it's a genuine effort and a step up in terms of direction and flow. The only thing that needs work at this point is the animation, specifically the line quality. Good luck on your future projects.

I'm not really a fan of random humor, though this was pretty good for what it is. The art needs polishing, though the animation was well done and did the job.

The frame-by-frame was smooth and looked good. The concept was solid and well-executed. Overall, this was pretty good, and I look forward to seeing more from you.

UNP responds:

I am warmfully pleased with your one of a kind assitance. I, myself, can do a better job on practising and being more creative, but that will eventually become natural as I go.

Not bad. You have a solid concept, and you did a pretty good job executing it. The animation was well done and really smooth. The textures you used for the grass and the trees were a bit visually unappealing to look at, however.

Overall, this was pretty solid. Keep up the good work.

PiVisuals responds:

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I agree with the textures on the grass and trees. That is something I plan on keeping in mind moving forward. Sometimes I find myself delving into the animation too much, and the design of sets/ backgrounds gets overlooked more than it should. Sadly, it takes away from things when that happens.

The animation is without a doubt well-done, excluding the traced-bitmap explosions. That being said, it was too short, pointless, and unfunny. 3 stars for the great frame-by-frame animation though.

WaldFlieger responds:

They weren't traced. :)

i fuckin love this

Pop-Tart responds:

OdellAtkinson responds:

Thank you very much. n_n Though I can't take all the credit.
